Privately owned and run, this country house hotel and restaurant is set in 4 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, and offers award-winning cuisine, as well as luxurious en suite accommodation.

The attractive, well-maintained hotel features every facility, including elegant reception rooms. It is located on the main A2 near the cathedral towns of Canterbury and Rochester, and close to Dover and Folkestone.

Superb new conference and function facilities can accommodate up to 150 guests, and features a complete range of audiovisual equipment. The hotel also has a licence for civil marriages.

One room is in the newer part of the hotel and is furnished in gold damask, with crystals on the canopy and curtains. Restaurants and Bars

With a seating capacity of 60, the stylishly appointed restaurant is the essential complement to the classic style of the hotel. With its crystal chandeliers, fine china, silver cutlery and cut glass, it provides the perfect setting for the superb cuisine which has won awards with the RAC, AA and English Tourist Board. The menu offers a tempting variety of classical English and French dishes which cater for traditional as well as more adventurous tastes, and the cellar is stocked with an extensive selection of wines from all around the world. Everything is freshly prepared using locally produced meat and fish, and vegetables delivered from Covent Garden every day. Two private dining rooms are available.
